HVAC Leader Scott J. Boxer Joins Interplay Advisory Board

Scott J. Boxer, a highly experienced HVAC executive with over 30 years leading major divisions at Lennox, York, and Service Experts Inc., has joined Interplay Learning's Advisory Board to support their innovative VR and 3D simulation-based online training platform aimed at rapidly developing skilled trades workforce globally.

Boxer has been appointed to its Advisory Board. Boxer brings more than three decades of experience, including a consistent record of growth, turnarounds, and profits as the P&L leader of HVAC manufacturing, distribution, and service businesses ranging from $40 million to $1.4 billion.

Boxer has led the largest divisions of industry leaders Lennox and York, and has a notable history advising CEOs and boards on critical growth. He retired as President and Chief Executive Officer of Service Experts Inc. in 2017, after facilitating the sale of the organization in 2016 to Toronto-based EnerCare. Prior to this acquisition, Boxer led Service Experts Inc. as President and CEO, partnering with American Capital Ltd. to lead the buy-out of Service Experts Inc. from Lennox International Inc. Before the buy-out, Boxer served from 2003 to 2010 as President and Chief Operating Officer of Service Experts. He was President of Lennox Industries from 2000 to 2003, and spent 26 years at York International (now part of Johnson Controls). In 2011, he received a Lifetime Achievement award from the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute.
