After taking part in an AR/VR session at Dell Technologies World, Interplay’s CEO, Doug Donovan, was met with a welcome surprise. During the first ten minutes of the event's keynote address, Jeff Clarke, COO of Dell Technologies, highlighted how Interplay represents the vision of modern workforce training and digital transformation. He believes Interplay’s ability to bring VR training to the trades is critical to helping companies improve productivity and train their future workforce.
We are excited to have Dell’s support as we look to bring VR-based training across the trades. Getting people access to VR hardware is a critical component to scaling this immersive training technology. Our software solution partnership with Dell has allowed us to develop a hardware application called “VR in a Box.” VR in a Box is a mobile VR solution powered by a Dell Precision computer, helping trainers take VR on the road as well as helping trades contractors across the world set up VR training centers in their offices and warehouses. Please feel free to reach out to learn how Virtual Reality can help you train your own internal or external workforces.
